Indications for therapy
The natural iodine-saline makes a wide variety of therapies possible
The spa's natural means of remedy is its thermal iodine-saline water. The hot spring water with its iron, iodine and saline concentrations and Bad Bevensen's mild climate make a wide variety of therapies possible. Bad Bevensen's iodine-saline water is only used in the spa for bathing and inhalation. The therapeutic thermal water is only applied in the spa center. The water's salinity creates an osmotic stimulus. Water is removed from the skin, thereby changing its mineral composition.
