Nordic Walking
Many marked routes in and around Bad Bevensen
Nordic Walking has become an extremely popular sport in Bad Bevensen and those who have ever tried walking with two poles and building up speed have rarely regretted it. Guests have often had this experience here says trainer Roland Kirchinger who shows them the proper technique. He has often seen absolutely unskilled beginners feel fit again and discover how much easier it is for guests to explore the spa gardens, park and the hilly landscape with two Nordic walking poles.
Nordic walking is a fun, dynamic, quick and easy technique for getting fit again. It is also excellent for the prevention of stress, high blood pressure, stroke and heart disease. This sport is a total body workout regardless of your condition. The coordinated use of arms and legs activates and trains more than 80 percent of your body's muscles. And the walking poles help take the pressure off joints and spine.
Sixteen tracks in the "Amtsheide" and "Klaubusch" with lengths between two and twenty-one kilometers are marked with special signs. The starting point is Mühlenweg in front of the TreeTrek ropes course office.
